Bybit launches FX Perpetual Contracts for major currency pairs

Bybit has launched Forex (FX) Perpetual Contracts, introducing three major currency pairs to its derivatives platform: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and USD/JPY. These contracts are settled in USDT and track their respective spot exchange rates without an expiry date.

Traders can use cryptocurrency assets as collateral and access leverage of up to 100x. Unlike traditional forex markets, these contracts are available for trading around the clock, allowing users to respond to geopolitical developments and macro events even when underlying markets are closed. The products are designed to help users hedge currency exposure while maintaining their collateral in crypto.

This launch expands Bybit’s TradFi Perpetuals suite, which includes equities, commodities, and ETFs. The move reflects a broader trend of cryptocurrency exchanges providing access to traditional financial assets through derivatives and tokenization.
