Chinese automakers roll out new electrified SUVs in Argentina, Spain and Mauritius

Dongfeng expanded its Spanish lineup with two new models. The fully electric VIGO SUV costs €29,990, offers 340 km WLTP range and can recharge from 30 % to 80 % in 18 minutes using DC fast charging. The brand also launched the Mage PHEV, a plug‑in hybrid SUV priced from €31,990.
Chery’s Omoda 7 SHS, sold in Spain, is a plug‑in hybrid SUV powered by a 1.5‑L turbo engine and two electric motors for a combined 279 hp. It provides up to 92 km of pure electric driving and a total range exceeding 1 200 km.
Denza entered the Spanish market with the premium D9 PHEV, a seven‑seat MPV delivering 353 hp and 210 km of electric range. The vehicle supports ultra‑fast charging up to 559 kW and is priced between €78,500 and €83,500.
In Mauritius, BYD launched the Atto 2 DM‑i PHEV SUV at US$31,990. It features a 1.5‑L gasoline engine paired with a 145 kW electric motor, offering 110 km of electric autonomy and a combined range of up to 1 100 km.
