Chinese automaker BYD introduced the Atto 3 EVO, an upgraded version of its existing electric SUV. The model features a new 800‑volt architecture, higher power output and a fast‑charging capability that reduces charge time to about 20 minutes. BYD positions the Atto 3 EVO as a competitively priced EV for the European market, building on its rapid product‑launch cycle.
French brand DS Automobiles launched the DS 3 Hybrid, a compact premium B‑SUV equipped with a 145 hp hybrid powertrain that consumes roughly five litres per 100 km and carries an ECO label. The vehicle is offered with a €2,500 discount and a suite of premium equipment, including 18‑inch alloy wheels, leather‑Nappa interior, digital instrument cluster, and advanced driver‑assist features.
Both models aim to attract European consumers seeking efficient, well‑equipped SUVs, with BYD emphasizing electric performance and DS highlighting hybrid economy and premium styling.
