BYD Da Han electric sedan aims for over 1,000 km range in Europe
Chinese automaker BYD has unveiled the Da Han, a new electric sedan slated for a European debut in August. The model is marketed with a claimed driving range of about 1,008 km (over 1,000 km) on a single charge, positioning it as a flagship for the brand’s luxury “9 Series” lineup.
The Da Han combines a modern aerodynamic design with advanced connectivity, safety systems and a LiDAR sensor for next‑generation driver assistance. Measuring roughly 5.25 m in length and equipped with a spacious interior, the vehicle targets premium customers seeking long‑distance EV capability while reducing emissions.
BYD highlights the model’s high energy efficiency and extensive range as a competitive response to European electric‑vehicle offerings, aiming to broaden its market share across the continent.
