BYD expands electric vehicle presence in Spain and Argentina

BYD is expanding its presence in the electric vehicle market through both product updates and significant market share gains. In Spain, the company has updated the BYD Dolphin Surf, introducing a five-seat configuration option for the Boost and Comfort trims. This update focuses on interior reorganization and technology, featuring a 12.8-inch central screen, Google-integrated multimedia services, and new connectivity options, while maintaining the vehicle's compact 3.99-meter length.

In Argentina, BYD has established a dominant position in the zero-emissions segment. According to ACARA data, the company accounts for 71.44% of the country's 100% electric vehicle market, with 4,310 of the 6,033 total electric units registered so far this year. The BYD Dolphin Mini is the primary driver of this growth, accounting for over half of the total electric registrations in the country.
