BYD expands hybrid range while Van Haven develops high-performance Transporter

BYD is expanding its product lineup in the Netherlands with the introduction of the Seal 6 DM-i. Unlike many of the company's recent electric models, this version is a plug-in hybrid available as both a sedan and a station wagon, known as the Seal 6 DM-i Touring.

Separately, British specialist Van Haven is developing a high-performance project called the ‘Supervan’. The project involves installing an Audi RS3 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbo engine into a Volkswagen Transporter T6.1. Working alongside RML Group, Van Haven intends to produce 30 units of this performance-oriented van, with a planned market release in 2027.
