BYD expands plug‑in hybrid and EV lineup in Poland and Philippines

Chinese automaker BYD launched the Seal 6 DM‑i sedan in Poland, offering two trim levels – Boost and Comfort – with promotional prices of 131,700 zł and 145,900 zł respectively. Both versions feature a plug‑in hybrid powertrain, extensive driver‑assist systems, large infotainment screens and premium interior equipment such as heated and ventilated seats.

In the Philippines, BYD introduced the Atto 2 compact SUV, available as a fully electric model and two plug‑in hybrid DM‑i variants (Premium and Dynamic). The EV version delivers up to 380 km of electric range, while the hybrid models provide up to 45 km of electric‑only driving and a combined range of up to 1,340 km. All three variants use BYD’s Blade Battery and include features like smartphone connectivity, driver‑assistance systems, and a Vehicle‑to‑Load function that can power external devices. Pricing is set to be announced on 1 September 2026.
