BYD introduces new Denza D9 MPV in Indonesia and plans European expansion

BYD Indonesia has launched the New Denza D9, an upgraded premium MPV featuring second-generation Blade Battery technology and FLASH Charging. The updated model offers a driving range of 730 km (NEDC standard), which is 130 km further than its predecessor, and a significant power increase to 340 kW (424 PS).

Luxury features include the DiSus-C Intelligent Damping Body Control system for stability, 10-point massage seats, and a 16-speaker Devialet audio system. Boby Barata, Head of Product for BYD Indonesia, stated the updates were implemented based on consumer feedback to enhance mobility for families and professionals.

Separately, BYD announced plans to bring its ‘God’s Eye’ City Navigation Driving Assistant (CNOA) technology to Europe by 2027. The technology, which will debut on the Denza Z9 GT, is a Level 2 driving assistance system designed to help navigate urban environments, including traffic jams and roundabouts, while requiring driver supervision.
