BYD launches premium EV models and ultra‑fast charging in Spain, Cyprus

BYD introduced its new ATTO 3 EVO electric SUV in Cyprus, priced from €36,990 after a €3,000 BYD Electric Bonus. The model features a 74.8 kWh Blade Battery, up to 510 km (WLTP) range, and fast DC charging of up to 220 kW (10–80 % in about 25 minutes). It is offered in a Design RWD version (313 PS) and an Excellence AWD version (449 PS) with enhanced power and drivetrain.

In Spain, BYD’s premium brand Denza launched the Z9GT sedan and D9 luxury MPV. Both use a 1,500 kW flash‑charging system that can raise the battery from 10 % to 70 % in roughly five minutes, and up to 97 % in under nine minutes. The all‑electric Z9GT carries a 122.49 kWh battery, delivers up to 1,156 hp, and achieves 0–100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, with a WLTP range of 600 km and a starting price of €101,000. The D9 is offered only as a hybrid, providing 430 hp, up to 210 km of electric range, and a combined 950 km range. A launch promotion gives 18 months of free charging for Z9GT purchases made before September. BYD plans to install 300 ultra‑fast chargers in Spain within the next 12 months as part of a broader network of 6,000 global flash‑charging stations.
