BYD launches Qin MAX EV and DM-i models
BYD has officially launched the Qin MAX, the latest addition to its Qin family of vehicles. The new model is available in both EV (electric) and DM-i (plug-in hybrid) versions, with prices ranging from 99,900 to 143,900 yuan.
The EV version features the second-generation Blade Battery and fast-charging technology, offering a pure electric range of up to 630 km. It is equipped with the ‘DiDi Xia’ AI intelligent cockpit and optional ‘God’s Eye B’ assisted driving with lidar. The DM-i hybrid version claims industry-leading specifications for its class, including a 320 km pure electric range, a total combined range of 2,370 km, and a low NEDC fuel consumption of 2.59L per 100 km.
Designed for urban youth and families, the Qin MAX offers a spacious interior with 27 storage compartments and a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. The vehicle also incorporates advanced driving systems such as the YunNian-C intelligent damping body control and the TBC high-speed tire burst stability system.
