BYD Malaysia introduces Gemilang Blue Atto 3 and Merdeka pricing

BYD Malaysia has introduced a new exterior color, Gemilang Blue, for the 2026 BYD Atto 3. The color choice is part of a Merdeka campaign inspired by the spirit of Malaysia's independence.

In conjunction with the color launch, the BYD Atto 3 Premium variant is being offered at a special Merdeka price of RM124,800. This represents a RM14,000 reduction from the recommended retail price of RM138,800. This promotional pricing brings the rear-wheel-drive Premium variant below the price of the front-wheel-drive Ultra variant, which retails at RM125,800.

The Atto 3 Premium features a rear electric motor producing 230 kW (313 PS) and 380 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.5 seconds. It is equipped with a 74.88 kWh Blade Battery, providing a driving range of up to 600 km (NEDC) or 510 km (WLTP). The model supports DC fast charging up to 220 kW.
