BYD reveals interior details for third-generation Tang SUV
BYD is preparing to launch the third generation of its Tang large crossover, which was previously showcased in pre-production form at the Chengdu Auto Show. The new model will be available in both five- and seven-seat configurations.
Interior designs have been revealed in two distinct styles. One version features a three-spoke steering wheel, a classic digital instrument cluster, and a beige and black interior. The second version offers a two-spoke steering wheel, a long, narrow instrument screen positioned level with the windshield, and a white interior. Both versions include a large central infotainment screen and a two-layer central tunnel equipped with wireless charging and physical buttons.
Technically, the SUV is expected to feature an electric motor with 300 kW of power and an 88.7 kWh battery, with a projected range of up to 850 kilometers. The exterior follows the BYD Dynasty series design language, characterized by a smooth front profile and a curved LED light strip spanning the width of the vehicle. Advanced features are expected to include air suspension and an autonomous driving system utilizing a lidar sensor.
