BYD showcases Atto 2 DM‑i preview at Clark tech tour in Philippines

BYD Cars Philippines opened its BYD Tech Tour at SM City Clark from 19 to 21 June 2026, offering visitors a first look at the upcoming Atto 2 DM‑i sub‑compact SUV ahead of its official launch. The event displayed the brand’s full electrified lineup – including the Seagull, Sealion 6 DM‑i, Seal 5 DM‑i, Sealion 5 DM‑i, Tang DM‑i and the newly launched Sealion 7 – and provided test‑drive opportunities.

Bob Palanca, BYD’s managing director, said Clark was chosen as a strategic hub to bring electric mobility closer to Filipinos in Central Luzon. The showcase also highlighted BYD’s expanding dealership network through ACMobility, Ayala Corp’s mobility platform, which now operates over 200 charging stations nationwide and offers digital tools for users.

The tour aims to accelerate EV adoption outside Metro Manila by giving the public direct exposure to battery‑electric and plug‑in hybrid models.
