Xiaomi launches Pad 9 Pro Max tablet and 18 Fold smartphone

Xiaomi has launched two major flagship products in China: the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max tablet and the Xiaomi 18 Fold smartphone. Both devices are powered by the company’s new proprietary Xring O3 chipset, a 3nm processor designed to enhance performance and efficiency across the Xiaomi ecosystem.

The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max features a 13.3-inch 3.4K LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 3:2 aspect ratio. It is equipped with a 12,000 mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging and can function as an external monitor via USB-C DP-in. The tablet runs on HyperOS 4 and offers configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Prices start at 4,799 yuan.

The Xiaomi 18 Fold introduces a “mid-fold” or passport-style design, offering a wider form factor than traditional book-style foldables. It features a 7.58-inch main LTPO OLED screen and a 5.38-inch outer screen, both supporting 120Hz refresh rates and up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness. The device includes a Leica triple-camera system with a 200MP primary sensor, a 6,000mAh battery, and weighs approximately 219 grams. It is currently available primarily in the Chinese market.
