BYD to launch third-generation Qin Plus on October 27

BYD has announced that the third-generation Qin Plus is scheduled to officially launch on October 27. The new model features a redesigned interior following the company’s new-generation Dynasty design language, which emphasizes simplified lines, a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, semi-hidden air vents, and soft ambient lighting.

The vehicle's dimensions have been increased compared to the current model, with a length of 4840mm, a width of 1900mm, a height of 1498mm, and a wheelbase of 2800mm. To enhance intelligent driving assistance, the new version will include roof-mounted LiDAR.

Technically, the Qin Plus will utilize a 1.5L plug-in hybrid system, combining a 74kW engine with a 120kW motor. It will offer two lithium iron phosphate battery configurations—16.227kWh and 24.337kWh—providing pure electric ranges of 107km and 160km, respectively.
