BYD to receive record shipment of 2,750 vehicles in New Zealand

BYD New Zealand is set to receive its largest shipment to date, consisting of 2,750 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles arriving at the end of August. The shipment, arriving in Auckland via two vessels, aims to clear a customer order backlog that has existed since April due to shipping constraints in China.

The delivery includes several models, such as the Atto 3 Evo, the Shark 6 Performance ute, and the upcoming Atto 2 DM-i. To expedite deliveries to the South Island, BYD has arranged coastal shipping between Auckland and Lyttelton.
