BYD updates Seal sedan lineup with larger Seal 07 and enhanced electric models

BYD has introduced updates to its Seal sedan lineup, featuring the new Seal 07 and an upgraded electric Seal model. The Seal 07 has grown in size, with a length of 5080 mm, a width of 1960 mm, and a wheelbase of 2960 mm, offering increased interior space. This model will be available in both plug-in hybrid and fully electric versions.

The updated electric BYD Seal focuses on enhanced practicality and technology. Key improvements include an increased luggage capacity, with the rear trunk expanding to 485 liters and the front trunk (frunk) growing from 53 to 72 liters. New technological features include Bluetooth Key functionality for smartphone integration and a Driver Fatigue Monitor (DMS) to improve safety through advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Design updates for the Seal include new color options such as Ruby Red, Lavender Grey, and Obsidian Black, alongside new 19-inch aluminum wheel designs. Both models continue to utilize BYD’s specialized vehicle platforms to balance performance and utility.
