Bydgoszcz infrastructure works underway near Academy of Music

Construction is underway in Bydgoszcz to improve the infrastructure surrounding the Academy of Music campus. The project involves modernizing telecommunications, power, and gas networks, as well as installing storm drainage.

Two new roads are being developed: one named after Professor R. Suchecki, which will connect to Gdańska Street, and another named after Professor J. Godziszewski, providing access from Kamienna Street. Work on Kamienna Street currently includes laying surfaces for sidewalks and bike paths, as well as reconstructing turn lanes to improve traffic flow.

The project emphasizes aesthetics to match the prestige of the campus, utilizing bituminous road surfaces, washed cobblestone, and concrete slabs. The design, which includes tree plantings for parking areas, was consulted with the Municipal Conservator of Monuments and the City of Bydgoszcz Aesthetics Council. Completion is expected between late October and November.
