Bydgoszcz opens new University Dental Center

The University Dental Center Collegium Medicum UMK has opened in Bydgoszcz, Poland. Spanning over 4,600 square meters, the facility is located within the Dr. Jan Biziel University Hospital No. 2.

The center is designed to integrate medical education, scientific research, and clinical practice. It features a clinical zone, educational facilities, and advanced diagnostic equipment, including orthodontic and prosthetic tools.

Students will utilize modern technology for training, including phantom units and virtual haptic units. These haptic systems allow students to work on three-dimensional digital models of the oral cavity while experiencing physical resistance through specialized tools. Additionally, the facility includes a Test Examination Center equipped with 142 computer stations, two of which are adapted for individuals with disabilities.
