Bydgoszcz to Host Second Final of Polish Individual Speedway Championship

The second final of the Individual Polish Speedway Championship will take place on Saturday, 4 July, at the Motoarena in Bydgoszcz. The event follows the first final held in Toruń, where six‑time world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik triumphed.

Four riders from the home club Abramczyk Polonia Bydgoszcz – Krzysztof Buczkowski, Szymon Woźniak, Wiktor Przyjemski and wild‑card entrant Maksymilian Pawełczak – are on the start list alongside 14 other top Polish speedway riders. The full 18‑rider lineup includes Zmarzlik, Patryk Dudek, Maciej Janowski and others, with the competition set to begin at 19:00.

Ticket sales are progressing well, with organisers expecting up to 6,000 spectators. Stadion prezydent Rafał Bruski announced plans for a major stadium renovation, aiming to begin a new grandstand tender in autumn and start construction in 2027.

Jerzy Kanclerz, president of ŻKS Polonia SA, said: "Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni ze sprzedaży" (we are very satisfied with the ticket sales). Sixteen‑year‑old junior Abramczyk rider expressed his ambition: "Chcę po prostu pokazać dobry żużel i pościgać się z tak dobrymi zawodnikami" (I just want to show good speedway and race with such strong competitors).
