Bydgoszcz: Two Ukrainian children attacked by adults
The Consulate General of Ukraine in Gdańsk has reported a violent attack against two Ukrainian children in Bydgoszcz. The incident occurred on August 14 in a park near the railway station.
The victims, a 14-year-old girl and her 12-year-old brother, were reportedly targeted by two adults—a man and a woman—because they were speaking Ukrainian. The attackers allegedly used physical violence, including twisting a child's arm and breaking a toy, while also using insults and threats.
Polish police are currently searching for the perpetrators. The Ukrainian consulate has condemned the act as an instance of xenophobia and is providing legal and consular support to the victims' mother.
