Bygghemma wins inaugural AI visibility award at Swedish SEO Awards

The Swedish SEO Awards 2026 recognized excellence in organic search visibility across 30 categories, including e-commerce, banking, and the public sector. A major highlight of the event was the introduction of a new category for AI visibility, which was won by the e-commerce retailer Bygghemma (part of BHG Group).

Bygghemma was selected for its significant growth in mentions and citations within next-generation AI search tools. According to jury chair Henrik Vikström, the company demonstrated the highest visibility in AI searches among all nominees in Sweden, regardless of category.

Other notable winners included Apotea in the pharmacy and health food category, NA-KD in fashion, and Macforum in electronics. The awards, established in 2019, evaluate performance based on organic search data, actual visibility, and growth on Google.
