Bynario raises €2.1 million for AI-powered cybersecurity platform

Milan-based cybersecurity startup Bynario has raised €2.1 million in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by 360 Capital Partners, with participation from Prana Ventures.

Bynario is developing an AI-powered platform designed to identify, prioritize, and remediate software vulnerabilities across application code, cloud environments, and third-party components. The company aims to automate processes that are currently often handled manually, addressing the increasing complexity of software dependencies and the rising speed of AI-assisted vulnerability research used by attackers.

The company’s technology combines artificial intelligence with offensive security research. In a recent demonstration of its capabilities, Bynario researchers identified previously unknown vulnerabilities in Apple’s macOS Screen Sharing technology, which were subsequently disclosed to Apple and patched.
