Bystanders rescue children in separate near-miss incidents in Prague and Bucharest

Two separate incidents involving children narrowly escaping danger have been reported in Prague and Bucharest.

In Prague, a seven-year-old child fell onto metro tracks after becoming distracted by a mobile phone. A passenger jumped onto the tracks and, with the assistance of other bystanders, managed to pull the child back onto the platform just moments before a train entered the station.

In Bucharest, a child under the age of two wandered into the first lane of a busy boulevard. A motorcyclist noticed the child and immediately intervened, moving the toddler to the sidewalk to prevent a collision. Witnesses noted that the child's mother appeared to be distracted by her phone at the time of the incident.
