Bytom cultural centre renovation and Zakopane school gym construction underway in Poland

The Bytom Cultural Centre is undergoing a major renovation funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The work includes a new 190‑seat multifunctional hall equipped with modern sound, lighting and seating, as well as upgrades to existing halls, the roof, ventilation and accessibility features. The project’s total cost is 17.47 million PLN, with 12.49 million PLN from EU funds and the remainder from the Bytom municipality, and is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.

In Zakopane, construction is progressing on a new gymnasium for Primary School No. 7, financed through the "Sportowa Polska" programme with a grant of 2.34 million PLN. The building will feature a fully accessible gym, modern sports equipment, a playground and an outdoor fitness area, with completion expected in March 2027. Both projects aim to enhance local cultural and sports infrastructure and improve community access to modern facilities.
