Bytom Half Marathon: Mateusz Mrówka and Barbara Pawełczak win titles

The 17th PKO Bytom Half Marathon took place on September 19 in Bytom, Poland. The event also served as the venue for the Open Silesian Half Marathon Championship 2026, which featured an open format allowing participants to compete regardless of residency, citizenship, or club affiliation.

In the men's category, Mateusz Mrówka from Aktywna Pszczyna Runners Team secured first place with a time of 1:09:20. He was followed by Adrian Romberg of MKS-MOSM Bytom in second place (1:09:35) and Tomasz Fijak of MKS Żywiec in third (1:11:07).

In the women's category, Barbara Pawełczak from Team Mati won the title with a time of 1:21:16. Klaudia Petters from JOMA TRAIL finished second with a time of 1:21:36, and Natalia Rzepka from Benefit Systems took third place with a time of 1:27:25. These top three finishers also claimed the podium positions for the Silesian Championship.
