Bytom mine director's villa undergoes major renovation
The former director's villa of the Rozbark mine in Bytom is undergoing a major renovation project. The revitalization of the building, which dates back to 1900, is being funded by KS Skarpa Bytom using external resources, including 12.2 million PLN from the European Union.
Upon completion, scheduled for late 2027, the facility on Tuwima Street is intended to serve several purposes, including the creation of a Chamber of Tradition, a Chamber of the Future, and specialized housing for the elderly. The project also aims to make the site accessible to people with disabilities and preserve the mining history of the Rozbark district.
