BYU and Pathway Worldwide launch career initiatives for Ghanaian youth

Brigham Young University (BYU) MBA students and Pathway Worldwide have launched a career development initiative in Ghana to address high youth unemployment rates. The program targeted young adults aged 15 to 35, a demographic where nearly 50% remain jobless.

Through an intensive two-week mission, BYU faculty and students conducted workshops across 15 regional communities. The training focused on resume crafting, interview techniques, and professional networking. The initiative directly benefited over 500 participants and included the training of 132 local Ghanaian volunteers to serve as mentors and knowledge multipliers within their own communities.
