BYU hires Marc Hill as deputy athletic director

BYU has announced the hiring of Marc Hill as its new deputy athletic director. Hill joins the Cougars' executive team following a 27-year tenure at the University of Kentucky.

In his new role at BYU, Hill will oversee various administrative and operational efforts within the athletics department. BYU athletic director Brian Santiago stated that Hill brings extensive experience from the highest levels of collegiate athletics to the institution.

During his time at Kentucky, Hill served as the deputy athletic director since 2019 and acted as the sports administrator for the football program for over a decade. His previous experience also includes serving as the director of strength and conditioning for 12 years. Hill expressed excitement about joining the BYU athletic family and pursuing championships in Provo.
