BYU prepares for Big 12 matchup against UCF in Orlando

BYU Cougars UCF Knights Big 12 Conference college football Kalani Sitake

Undefeated No. 2 BYU (6-0) travels to Orlando to face UCF in a critical Big 12 conference matchup. The Cougars are coming off an emotionally demanding 28-24 upset victory over Notre Dame.

Analysts have noted the potential for a letdown, drawing parallels to Oklahoma State’s loss to UCF in 2023 following a major rivalry win. UCF enters the game following a bye week, providing them extra preparation time for the rematch of last year’s contest where BYU won 41-21.

BYU coach Kalani Sitake described UCF as a “dangerous opponent” that could improve its record to 5-1 or 6-0 with a victory.
