B&ZAI members Konno and Inaba to co-star in fantasy stage play

B&ZAI members Daiki Konno and Michiaki Inaba are set to co-star in the fantasy stage production “Boku no Dragon ga Gohan o Tabenai!!” The play, written by Udai Iwasaki of the theater group Kamomentaru, explores themes of life through a world where dragons are kept similarly to domestic pets.

During recent press events, the duo discussed their roles and personal lives. Inaba will play Tuño, the son of a dragon farmer, while Konno will portray Altoi, a dragon coordinator. Konno shared insights into his experience owning two Pomeranians, noting that the challenges of pet care in real life helped him relate to the script's themes. Inaba, who keeps budgerigars, spoke about his bond with his birds.

The production is scheduled to run at the Tokyo Globe Theatre from November 5 to November 23, followed by performances at Sankei Hall Breeze in Osaka from November 27 to December 6.
