C Gold Award returns for third edition in Serie C

The third edition of the C Gold Award is set to begin on October 26, 2026. Promoted by Affidabile.org, the initiative aims to increase visibility for Serie C players and strengthen the connection between athletes, clubs, and fan communities.

The competition involves 60 teams and 600 selected players across all three Serie C groups. The selection process includes input from the sports press, specifically the editorial staff of Lacasadic.com, who will identify key protagonists between October 26 and 30. Following the initial selection, the public will participate in a voting process leading to a national final scheduled for January 2027.

In the previous edition, 4,292 fans cast 11,099 votes, with Christian Dimarco of Aurora Pro Patria winning the national ranking. For the 2026 edition, clubs such as Sorrento and Inter Under 23 have already seen 10 players each selected for the shortlist, covering various positions including goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and attackers.
