C. P. Vietnam exports first shipment of processed chicken to South Korea
C. P. Vietnam has officially exported the first shipment of processed chicken from Vietnam to the South Korean market. The announcement ceremony took place on August 25 at the CPV Food Binh Phuoc export poultry complex.
This milestone follows the formal opening of the processed chicken market between Vietnam and South Korea. To achieve this, C. P. Vietnam had to meet rigorous quarantine, food safety, and production chain control requirements set by South Korean authorities, including the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency (APQA) and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS). The evaluation process involved an eight-step assessment and the completion of extensive technical documentation covering the entire Feed–Farm–Food production model.
Dương Tất Thắng, Director of the Department of Livestock and Veterinary, noted that this event marks a significant milestone in agricultural cooperation between the two nations. He expressed hope that this success would encourage other Vietnamese enterprises with sufficient production and quality control capabilities to enter the South Korean market, thereby increasing the export value of Vietnam's livestock and food processing industries.
