Cà Phê Muối Chú Long clarifies Shanghai trip is not a new branch opening

The Vietnamese coffee chain Cà Phê Muối Chú Long recently sparked rumors of international expansion after a video showed dozens of uniformed employees appearing in Shanghai, China.

Despite social media speculation that the brand was opening a new branch in Shanghai, the company clarified that the trip was an organized incentive tour for office staff and senior management. The group visited both Shanghai and Wuzhen as part of a company activity. The brand, which grew from a small coffee cart in Ho Chi Minh City to a chain with over 60 locations, confirmed that its domestic store operations continue to run normally during the trip.
