C. S. Loreto youth team to compete in Paolo Rossi Memorial Tournament

The C. S. Loreto Esordienti youth football team has qualified to participate in the Paolo Rossi Memorial International Tournament, held from September 2 to 6 in the province of Arezzo, Tuscany. The team earned their spot following a victory at the Serafini Tournament in S. Claudio in June.

The tournament will take place across six locations: Bucine, Levane, Montevarchi, Terranuova Bracciolini, Cavriglia, and San Giovanni Valdarno. Matches will be broadcast via live stream on the FIFA+ channel. C. S. Loreto is scheduled to debut on September 3 at 9:30 AM against FC Inter, followed by a match against Vivi A. Sansepolcro at 4:00 PM. Their final group stage match will be against FC Zbrojovka Brno on September 4 at the Stadio V. Fedini in San Giovanni Valdarno.

C. S. Loreto joins a field of twenty participating teams, including major clubs such as Real Madrid, Juventus FC, AC Milan, AS Roma, and Flamengo. Coach Giuseppe Paciaroni noted that while the team is aware of the competitive gap against professional academies, the focus remains on giving their best and gaining technical and human experience.
