C5 Escudo Jalisco Enhances Metropolitan Coordination in Guadalajara

The C5 Escudo Jalisco command held its twelfth meeting of heads and managers of communication centers for the Guadalajara metropolitan area. The session, chaired by Director Operativo Alfonso Mendoza, brought together representatives from the nine municipalities of the metro zone, as well as state and federal security agencies, including the Jalisco State Security Secretariat, the National Defense Secretariat, the National Intelligence Center, and emergency services such as SAMU and civil protection.

Participants reviewed the implementation of agreements from the previous meeting and presented a proposal to create dedicated radio channels – Coordination, Red Code, CEM and Video‑Surveillance – along with revised operating rules. They also examined protocols for handling reports of missing persons, especially children and adolescents, aiming to streamline inter‑agency response to high‑impact incidents and emergencies.
