Ca' Foscari University dedicates classroom to late student Marco Zabeo

Ca' Foscari University of Venice has dedicated Aula 0K in San Basilio to Marco Zabeo, a former Business Economics student who passed away on February 15, 2024. The initiative was proposed by the Assembly of Student Representatives (Ars) to honor Zabeo’s academic dedication and civic commitment.

Zabeo graduated in July 2023 with a thesis on private law. He was noted for his role in strengthening the collaboration between the university and the Bone Marrow Donors Association (ADMO). The dedicated classroom will serve as a space for student association activities.

The dedication ceremony included University Rector Tiziana Lippiello, Professor Roberto Senigaglia, and representatives of the Zabeo family. Rector Lippiello described the gesture as a moment of educational and civic value, noting that the initiative was strongly driven by the student body.
