Ca Mau approves $154.7 million wind power project

The Ca Mau provincial People’s Committee has approved a wind power project valued at approximately $154.7 million. The development will feature a 102 MW capacity utilizing 12 wind turbines to bolster renewable energy and enhance energy security.

To maintain the project schedule, Vice Chairman Huynh Chi Nguyen has directed the Department of Agriculture and Environment to lead coordination with relevant agencies. This includes managing land allocation, marine area leasing, and environmental protection procedures. Local departments are tasked with state management, inspection, and supervision to address any issues arising during the project's implementation.
