Ca Mau - Dat Mui Expressway construction compensates farmers

Construction of the Ca Mau - Dat Mui Expressway has caused irrigation difficulties for farmers in Khanh Binh commune, leading to reduced rice yields during the 2025 - 2026 winter-spring crop.

Following inspections by the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee and local authorities, the project's investor and construction unit agreed to compensate affected households. The compensation package covers 100% of production costs and 50% of profits for the damaged rice areas.

A total of 194 million VND has been paid to 11 affected households in Ap 12 and Lung Ba, completing the support process to ensure local security and stability.
