Ca Mau to host 2026 Shrimp Festival to boost global trade

The second Ca Mau Shrimp Festival is scheduled to take place in 2026 at Phan Ngoc Hien Square. Under the theme ‘Ca Mau Shrimp – Reaching the World,’ the event aims to promote the potential of the shrimp industry and strengthen connections between farmers, processing enterprises, distributors, and international partners.

Key activities will include an exhibition and trade space featuring approximately 350 booths. These will showcase shrimp production achievements—ranging from ecological and rice-shrimp models to high-tech intensive farming—as well as machinery, processing technology, and value-added products. The festival also intends to facilitate supply chain integration through a trade connection conference to link producers with suppliers of seeds, feed, and logistics, while expanding links with supermarkets and e-commerce platforms.
