CA Périgueux faces Orléans in critical Nationale 1 rugby match

CA Périgueux faces a critical match against Orléans in the sixth round of the Nationale 1 rugby championship. The team is currently struggling with poor starts to their matches, often conceding significant points in the opening minutes. Manager Didier Casadeï noted that the team must increase intensity from the kickoff to avoid falling further behind in the standings.

Périgueux enters the fixture with a roster depleted by injuries to players such as Bouthier and Lebas. Both teams currently hold identical records of two wins and three losses, with Orléans sitting in eighth place and Périgueux in tenth. A victory for the Dordogne-based club would allow them to overtake Orléans in the rankings.
