Caaguazú Governor announces 100 million guaraní for sports infrastructure

Governor Marcelo Soto has announced that the winner of the Caaguazú Interligas departmental football final will receive 100 million guaraní to invest in sports infrastructure. The final match, scheduled for Sunday, will be contested between the Repatriación and Caaguazú leagues.

This incentive is part of a broader sports support program led by the Caaguazú Government to assist local clubs and leagues. Soto also indicated that an infrastructure prize is being planned for the Under-16 category champions, though the specific amount is still under evaluation by planning and administration departments.
