CAASD paves 12,000 square meters of streets in Santo Domingo

The Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD) has paved 12,595.99 square meters of streets and avenues across Greater Santo Domingo. The paving follows necessary excavations to repair water and sewage network malfunctions, install new piping, and rehabilitate existing systems.

Under the direction of Fellito Suberví, the institution implemented a ‘Plan de Zona’ to address leaks, connect pipes, and clear sanitary sewer lines. Affected sectors include Mirador Sur, San Carlos, Mata Hambre, Manganagua, Las Colinas de Los Ríos, and Gascue. Specific repairs included fixing 16-inch water pipes in La Paz and on Avenida Independencia, as well as addressing issues in Buenos Aires de Herrera and the Ciudad Colonial.
