Cabanillas del Campo declares official mourning for Pablo Herranz Minchillo

The Mayor of Cabanillas del Campo, José García Salinas, has declared two days of official mourning on August 15 and 16, 2026, following the death of Pablo Herranz Minchillo. Herranz was a prominent and well-regarded figure in the community.

Herranz served as a city councilor for the PSOE for eight years during the 1980s and 1990s. Professionally, he was a recognized plumbing specialist who managed his own business and maintained the municipality's water supply network for many years. He was also deeply involved in local sports, having served as a player, director, and president of the Sporting Cabanillas club.

Mayor García Salinas described Herranz as a man who contributed to the development of the municipality and remains a part of the town's collective memory.
