Cabaret Vert festival celebrates 20th anniversary in Charleville-Mézières
The 20th anniversary edition of the Cabaret Vert festival in Charleville-Mézières drew 106,000 attendees from August 20 to 23, 2026. This figure represents an increase of 5,000 visitors compared to the previous year, though it remains below 2024 levels.
The festival featured four stages and 65 musical groups. While electronic and rock music accounted for 57% of the lineup, organizers emphasized an intergenerational approach by increasing the presence of rap, world music, and reggae. Notable additions to the festival infrastructure included a second floating bridge over the Meuse river to improve spectator flow, a new relaxation area called 'La Plage Ducale', and the development of the Zion Club as a dedicated fourth stage for dub and reggae.
Operational support for the event included 650 partners and 2,500 volunteers.
