Cabedelo Mayor inaugurates Praça Tia Sônea in Ponta de Campina

The Mayor of Cabedelo, Evilásio Cavalcanti, has officially inaugurated Praça Tia Sônea, a new public leisure and integration space located in the Ponta de Campina neighborhood.

Spanning approximately 552 square meters, the plaza features interlocking pavement walkways, a reinforced concrete social area, LED lighting, accessibility ramps, and pre-molded concrete benches. The site also includes a wooden children's playground and landscaped areas with ornamental plants and native tree seedlings, such as the pink ipê. The project preserved existing local trees, including a mango and a cajazeira tree.

To manage budget limitations, the municipal administration utilized partnerships and donations for construction materials, which the mayor noted significantly reduced costs to the public treasury.
