Cabildo de La Palma launches Patio Ciudadan@ platform to improve social services

The governing council of La Palma (Cabildo) is introducing a new online participation space called Patio Ciudadan@. Managed by the Directorate of Social Action under Ángeles Fernández, the platform will let residents submit suggestions, report incidents and highlight good practices related to dependency care, childhood and adolescent support, and other social assistance services.

All contributions will be recorded, structured and analysed to identify trends, common needs and improvement opportunities, feeding directly into the strategic planning of the island’s social‑service policies. The system includes safeguards for personal‑data protection and confidentiality, and will be supported by a monitoring dashboard to regularly review the collected information.
