Cabixi police arrest two men after high-speed chase and death threats

Two men were arrested in Cabixi following a series of offenses including death threats, dangerous driving, and resisting police orders. The incident began when the Military Police responded to a report of a violated protective order. The victim reported that her ex-partner had made death threats and sent messages featuring a photo of ammunition.

During the search for the suspect, officers observed a motorcycle being driven at high speeds on one wheel. The driver refused to stop and led police on a high-speed chase through the city center, eventually colliding with a police cruiser. The passenger, identified as the suspect involved in the death threats, attempted to flee on foot into a residence. The driver also resisted arrest, requiring the use of a taser to be contained. Authorities recovered a substance similar to cocaine near the scene.
