Cabletime unveils ScreenDock USB‑C dock with built‑in 5.5‑inch display

Cabletime announced the Kickstarter launch of ScreenDock, an 8‑in‑1 USB‑C docking station that includes a 5.5‑inch 720p companion display. The device adds both port expansion and a dedicated secondary screen, allowing users to move application windows onto the built‑in display for multitasking, AI tool monitoring, remote‑meeting notes, gaming telemetry, and other workflows. The company says most docks only provide connectivity, whereas ScreenDock also "shows," creating a useful space beside the main monitor. The product does not run its own operating system and requires a driver from the host computer. The Kickstarter campaign runs for about 45 days with early‑bird rewards, and the first shipments are scheduled to begin in October.
