Cabo Frio expands ocean literacy program in municipal schools

Cabo Frio has expanded its ocean literacy initiatives by adding the M. Prof. Oswaldo Santa Rosa school to the Blue School Program. This follows the previous inclusion of the M. Evaldo Salles school.

Both institutions are part of the Blue School Brasil and the All-Atlantic Blue Schools Network. The program integrates ocean culture and environmental preservation into the school curriculum to encourage students to value and protect local marine ecosystems, beaches, and coastal environments. Education Secretary Alessandro Teixeira noted that these projects transform ocean knowledge into concrete learning experiences involving students, teachers, and families.
